Applying for membership

Please look at our ‘About’ page for information about the Group.  Our membership remains about 20 members and as vacancies occur the membership is maintained by invitation to artists living in the Wimbledon area who have made themselves known to the Group.  Members are expected to produce a minimum of four new pieces of work for each exhibition.

A purpose of the group is to give encouragement to talented artists who may not so far have had an opportunity to exhibit their work, as well as an opportunity for established local artists to show their work in Wimbledon. A further objective is to foster friendship among the artists through working together. 

 

If you are able to come to one of our exhibitions before applying you could assess for yourself whether the group is for you and make yourself known to the members who are present, although this is not a requirement.

If you wish to apply for membership please contact Samaira Ali, Chairman of the Group, at sdrigg@talktalk.net. You will be asked to show some recent work and be willing if accepted to help with the general organising of the Group’s activities.
