About the artist - May Chee:

I was born in San Francisco to Chinese immigrant parents, so I have absorbed an appreciation of the arts and culture of both East and West.

I studied art in various forms in San Francisco at the Art Academy and the Art Institute. After moving to London in 1978, I studied at City Lit and Sutton College. I studied Chinese brush painting & caligraphy with the London Chinese Brush Painters Group.

I work in a variety of mediums, but primarily in watercolours. I can also do portraits on commission.

If you would like information about any of the paintings, or would like to make a purchase, you can contact me by email.
