About the artist - Mark Lodge:

 

"My studio is in Wimbledon, South West London and in the summer months you will find me painting in the Swiss Alps above Zermatt.

Inspiration for my work comes from my love of travel to different places on our beautiful planet, interest in architecture, painting scenes around London and from magnificent alpine mountain scenery.

I work mainly in oils, my favourite medium and my unique style has been developed using perspective, light and shade to draw the viewer into the painting, giving a three dimensional feeling to my work.

My work can be found in many private collections within the UK and Internationally, as well as being published in magazines, guides and filmed while painting in the Swiss Alps.
